Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Job Summary:

The HR & Admin Manager oversees all human resources and administrative functions across both the corporate office and remote agricultural sites/farms. This role is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals, managing seasonal and permanent workforces, ensuring compliance with labor and safety regulations, and maintaining efficient administrative operations across all company facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management

  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for corporate staff, farm managers, and seasonal/contract agricultural workers.

  • Workforce Planning: Coordinate with farm operations to anticipate seasonal labor demands and ensure adequate staffing during peak harvesting or planting seasons.

  • Employee Relations: Act as a bridge between management and site workers. Resolve grievances, mediate conflicts, and maintain a positive working environment across dispersed farm locations.

  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of standard salaries, daily wages, and piece-rate compensation for field workers.

  • Training & Development: Implement training programs focused on agricultural best practices, equipment operation, and workplace safety.

  • Health & Safety (HSE): Enforce occupational health and safety standards specific to agriculture (e.g., safe handling of chemicals/fertilizers, machinery safety, and heat stress prevention).

Administration & Operations

  • Facility & Camp Management: Oversee the maintenance of corporate offices and on-site farm facilities, including worker housing, canteens, and sanitation facilities.

  • Fleet Management: Manage the company fleet, coordinating maintenance and dispatch for corporate vehicles and administrative oversight of farm equipment logistics.

  • Asset & Vendor Management: Handle the procurement of office and administrative farm supplies. Manage contracts with external vendors, security services, and local suppliers.

  • Compliance: Ensure all company operations comply with local labor laws, agricultural employment regulations, and environmental health standards. Maintain relationships with local authorities and community leaders.
