Job Description

• Manage and carry out activities and operations concerning the Department of Food and Drug Administration, Customs Department and Department of Trade effectively to fulfil compliance requirements
• Liaise effectively between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and regulatory bodies regarding import and re-export activities
• Perform necessary checks and recordkeeping procedures for the organization’s import and re-export activities
• Prepare required samples and documents to apply for Department of Food and Drug Administration’s Import Recommendation registration
• Manage necessary documents for advance payments to suppliers and handover to Accounting Department
• Communicate with shipping agents effectively and book shipping space and apply for shipping insurance
• Review and monitor shipping documents to ensure compliance with Customs Department’s rules and regulations
• Ensure work completion within required timeframe and resolve any issues
• Prepare necessary documents for all import and re-export activities
• Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import and export regulations and procedures, tariffs and duties, licenses and restrictions
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Communicate and cooperate effectively with relevant departments in the organization
• Perform other related duties and required of the Procurement & Import Department
• Follow instructions from and report to Procurement & Import Managers

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in related field
• Experience in FDA and License
• Certificate or diploma holder in Supply Chain
• Full knowledge of import government law
• Strong communications and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient computer and Photoshop Skills ,including Microsoft Office Suite and Gmail
• Treat everyone with respect
• Can work collaboratively in teams
• Ability to effectively solve problems and make decisions
