Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Conduct thorough audits of financial statements, operational procedures, and compliance with internal and external standards.
Plan, schedule, and execute audits across all departments, ensuring full coverage of key risk areas.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal controls, recommending enhancements where necessary.
Identify, assess, and prioritize risks to inform audit planning and resource allocation.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure the timely implementation of audit recommendations.
Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and actionable recommendations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
Conduct follow-up audits to confirm timely execution of corrective actions.
Provide compliance and risk management guidance to various departments.
Mentor and supervise junior audit staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably in the retail or jewellery sector.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and compliance regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
