Requirement Gathering

• Conduct business scoping with the business users and develop quality business requirements within the agreed timeline for sign off.
• Prepare business use cases, user stories & manage the users’ wish-list.
• Able to manage complex projects from start to finish coordinating with stakeholders, internal teams, and vendor(s).

Business Solutioning

• Analyze business processes and workflow to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes.
• Analyzes business issues and performs business impact analysis to best approach for solutions.
• Reviews functional specification to ensure design meets the user requirement specified.
• Prepare BRD, Test Plan & Sign off documents.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and IT.

Business Testing, User Acceptance Testing & Production Support

• Prepare business scenarios and review test scripting to ensure they are in line with the business requirements.
• Work closely with the end-user and participate in testing during the implementation of IT projects.
• Conduct review sessions with the users when required to ensure acceptance and signed off by the respective stakeholders.
• Guide the end-users on system changes and conduct training (train the trainer concept)
• Require collaborating closely with the business units and the technical development teams on all system implementation projects as well as maintenance.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Degree holders of Business Technology & Insurance Studies would be relevant.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Advanced Excel.
• Articulative and possess proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in whole Software Development Life Cycle and familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Ability to raise quality tickets and experience in Issue Reporting/Analysis tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
• Knowledge of general insurance products is a plus.
• Experience with range of software and tools, such as Excel and SQL is a plus.
