The IT Manager is responsible for leading the IT function, ensuring reliable system operations, strengthening infrastructure, and supporting the organization’s operational and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and supervise the IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance support.
- Oversee daily team activities and ensure effective task allocation and follow‑through.
- Drive continuous improvement across people, processes, systems, and resources.
2. IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Ensure the efficient and reliable operation of all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Oversee troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and system performance.
- Manage glass machinery systems, computer hardware, and related technical equipment.
3. IT Projects & System Implementation
- Collaborate with IT team members to plan, execute, and deliver IT projects on time.
- Lead the implementation and development of ERP and MIS systems, including:
o Production Information System
o Preventive Maintenance System (PIMS)
o Plant Maintenance Information Management System (PMIMS)
o Quality Information Management System (QIMS)
o Mould Information Management System (MIMS)
o Warehouse Management System (WMS)
4. Vendor & Contract Management
- Evaluate, select, and procure IT products and services in collaboration with vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service‑level agreements to ensure quality and cost‑effectiveness.
5. Technical Support & Service Delivery
- Oversee end-user technical support, ensuring prompt and effective issue resolution.
- Develop and implement IT support processes, procedures, and service standards.
6. IT Governance, Security & Compliance
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, FSSC 22000, GMP, and other relevant standards.
- Support audit readiness and documentation requirements.
7. Budgeting & Resource Planning
- Contribute to the preparation of IT budgets, forecasts, and resource planning.
- Monitor expenditures and optimize resource utilization.
8. Engineering & Maintenance Coordination
- Organize and coordinate process and hot‑end engineering equipment maintenance and changeovers.
9. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
