Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Oversee the maintenance and preventive maintenance of hospital buildings, equipment, and utility systems
  • Manage electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire safety systems
  • Supervise technical and maintenance teams and assign daily tasks based on priorities
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all critical systems and medical equipment
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, healthcare safety standards, and accreditation requirements 
  • Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies
  • Manage relationships with outside suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective services
  • Monitor contractor performance and oversee outsourced maintenance and repair work
  • Support procurement by identifying equipment and spare parts requirements and ensuring timely delivery from vendors
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment condition, and service history
  • Manage the engineering budget, spare parts inventory, and procurement of maintenance tools and supplies
  • Support hospital expansion, renovation, and infrastructure projects as needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance or engineering management (hospital or healthcare setting preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, hospital-grade utilities, and biomedical safety standards
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and facilities management software
  • Ability to lead a team of technicians and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good understanding of safety regulations, emergency procedures, and infection control in healthcare environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking systems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
