Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

  • Providing appropriate medical care to students and staff during school hours.

  • Communicating with parents for  consent before any treatment is administered to students.

  • Communicating with parents in the event of an accident, injury or illness involving a student.

  • Recording visits to the nurse room on  the electronic  day book 

  • Providing medical support when requested  for offsite activities and special events.

  • Ensuring that the medical rooms are stocked with appropriate medicine and equipment at all times. 

  • Maintaining a written record of all medicines and equipment, including expiry dates.

  • Ensuring that all first Aid Kits on site are regularly checked for stock and replenished where necessary. 

  • Supporting the establishment of the IPC  programme( Infection Prevention and Control) and modelling good practice with regards to IPC.

  • Other reasonable duties, as requested by the healthcare manager

Job Requirements

  • Current First Aid Certificate

  • Other qualifications relating to the field of nursing (desired) 

  • Experience of working in a hospital environment.

  • Experience of working with children (desired)

  • A good level of English

  • A competent level of Myanmar 

  • Up-to-date knowledge of medical care and CNE

  • Calm manner

  • Positive attitude
