Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Plan and coordinate international purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and accurate documentation.
Execute procurement processes and source products from overseas suppliers in accordance with company policies, procedures, and business requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and third-party service partners to ensure efficient import operations and timely shipment arrivals.
Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and a consistent supply of goods.
Prepare, review, and manage import-related documents, including shipping documents, FDA applications, import licenses, and customs clearance requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate import shipments, payment processes, and documentation requirements.
Liaise with clearing agents to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of imported goods.
Maintain effective working relationships with relevant government authorities and handle applications and documentation related to MIC, MOC, import licenses, and other regulatory requirements.
Utilize SAP, ERP, or other procurement systems to monitor purchasing activities, track shipments, and maintain accurate records.
Prepare and submit procurement, import, and inventory-related reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure compliance with import regulations, company policies, and procurement procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Strong government relations experience (MOC, MIC, import license applications, customs clearance, duty exemption processes).
In-depth knowledge of shipping processes and documentation.
Good English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong data management and reporting skills.
Initiative and leadership ability.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree or any related university qualification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields.
Experience in government relations (MIC, MOC, import license applications, etc.).
Knowledge of procurement and logistics management.
Preferably experienced with SAP/ERP software.
