ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking Project Managers, experienced in Banking, IT domains and vendor management experience would be ideal for this opportunity. This role will focus on the banking and product implementation aspects of the project and work in collaboration with the Program Manager with a focus on the Product, Business, IT and Project Management aspects.This role will allow you to use your demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams with different skill sets, exercise strong problem-solving ability and utilize your skills with working in a team orientated, collaborative environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a Project manager, you are responsible for delivering the project, leading the team members, managing stakeholders and expectation to achieve project objectives.
• Work closely with the Product, Business, Technology, and Program Managers to align with the overall project strategy.
• A project manager might be working on multiple projects and/or initiatives based on size, complexity of projects and the workload. 
• Depending on project to project and nature of the projects, shall be responsible partly or for the whole project life cycle, Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling.
• Closing, either directly or indirectly or through delegation or support from the stakeholders
• Aligning with organizational strategy and goals, setting and meeting project targets, liaising with other stakeholders and PMs to achieve project results and outcomes.
• Develop a strong understanding of all technical aspects of the project and collaboratively work to meet current and future targets.

Education & Special Training

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree or above

Desirable

• MBA or related master’s degree is desirable.
• Certificate in PSM (or) PMP (or) PAL (or) Agile PM (or) ACP (or) Agile/SCRUM Certificate

Experience

Essential

• More than 5 years of experience in project delivery using waterfall / agile methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in using project management tools including: (Microsoft Project or others)
• Proficiency in 10 knowledge areas defined in the PMBOK.
• The candidate will require excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
• Risk management, communication, and relationship skill
• Managing internal/external communications and change management to ensure consistency of messaging to stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively as part of a high performing team/organization, establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with key internal and/or external stakeholders to identify, lead and deliver high quality business outcomes.
• Used to work close to stakeholders in managing project timelines and deliverables.
• High energy and passionate individual who inspires teammates to reach their maximum potential.
• Can do attitude and good communication skills. 
• Ability to coordinate and negotiate with business stakeholders.
