Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Quantity Take-Off:
Accurately measure and quantify materials required for the project.
Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Tender Documents:
Compile detailed BOQs and prepare tender documentation for project bidding.
Document Analysis:
Review project documents and drawings to extract necessary information for obtaining 
quotations.
Supplier and Quotation Management:
Contact suppliers to obtain quotations for materials.
Prepare and submit project quotations.
Material Take-Off:
Quantify materials such as aluminum, hardware, glass, and other accessories for pricing and 
quotation.
Cost Feasibility & Estimation:
Perform cost analysis and feasibility studies to estimate project costs accurately.
Assessment of Contractor’s Claims:
Evaluate and verify claims made by contractors for payment.
On-Site Assessments:
Conduct site visits to assess progress claims and verify the accuracy of claims.
Progressive Claims Preparation:
Prepare and submit progressive claims to finance departments.
Liaising with Subcontractors and Suppliers:
Maintain communication with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Contract Management:
Oversee contract administration, ensuring that all parties adhere to the contract terms and conditions.
Manage variations and change orders, ensuring they are properly documented and justified.
Resolve contractual disputes and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Document Control:
Maintain and manage project documentation, including contracts, specifications, drawings, and correspondence.
Ensure that all documents are accurately filed, easily accessible, and up-to-date.
Implement and enforce document control procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit working reports to the Head of Department (HOD).

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, material costs, and contract administration.
Proficiency in using quantity surveying and document control software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Experience in handling large-scale projects, complex claims, and contract management.
