Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

Initiate and implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures.
Evaluate health and safety practice and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines.
Conduct accident prevention training and health & safety training.
Inspect equipment/business units for unsafe workplace conditions and unsafe acts.
Monitor workplace safety at site.
Investigate accidents and incidents to find cause and take prevention measures not to happen further incidents.
Handle employee/contractor's safety violated penalty claims in the event of a workplace accident and incident.
Suggest solutions, improvements and prevention steps for safety issues.
Have to handle the WILMAR GLOBAL EHS system and feed back report to EHS team.
Monitoring current and potential health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace, participating in corporate-level hazard assessments, and developing and approving controls for identified hazards.
Creating, circulating and enforcing a hazard assessment process, accident investigation procedures and health and safety policies, practices and procedures of WILMAR subsidiaries.
Tracking incident metrics and identifying trends.
Sharing general health and safety knowledge to all employees.
Organize to order safety equipment/PPE and deal with procurement dept for all WILMAR MYANMAR ENTITIES.
Manage safety team in Kyaik Latt Rice mill upon local management requirements & group EHS requirements.

Job Requirements

Must be graduated.
Myanmar/English (Written and Verbal Communication, Typing Skill)
Must have 3-5 years experience and preferred to have safety experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
Certified in risk management and health/safety management and through knowledge of health and safety laws and guidelines.
Good understanding of data analysis and risk assessment, Ability to provide detailed reports and develop safety procedures.
Good organizational, leadership & motivational skills and good communication & interpersonal skills.
Able to organize different assignments and able to stay at dormitory upon job requirement.
Preferred to have Safety Management Specialist (SMS) and Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certificate.
