Job Description

  • Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production web applications and back-end portals
  • Produce fully functional customs application and integration with the existing platform
  • Improvement of system performance and optimization
  • Creating, maintaining and enhancing procedures, processes and designs of the system
  • Build up the new features and improvement the existing features for a few hundred thousand end-users
  • Design and architecture of mobile/web applications and API
  • Provide the solutions of the technical issues
  • Analyze the existing system and write the new specification of projects
  • Write the API documentation and supporting guidelines to identify the issues
  • Identifying and handling the code standardization and the system quality
  • Identifying and handling the technical risks, issues and escalations
  • Write clean and high performing code and conduct testing
  • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
  • Conducts a system architecture evaluation and collaborates with management and development team to improve the architecture
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and apply into the system as needed
  • Creates and leads the process of integrating IT systems to meet business requirements
  • Provide leadership to the development team, monitor, facilitate the team to address the issues
  • Support the team with any necessary tasks as requested or required
  • Participate fully in Agile digital transformation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Have ample working experience with developing web applications using Backend (PHP – Vanilla PHP or Laravel/Lumen Framework, MySQL) and Frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript – Vanilla JS or jQuery or Vue.js, REACT) development tech stacks
  • AWS Cloud, Linux, LAMP/LEMP stack, git, Gitlab DevOps skills are important
  • Understanding of Client-Server Architecture, REST API, Web Application Security
  • Have interest in financial products and services
  • Good project management skills with high attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities for maximum delivery result
  • Strong problem-solving capacity
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Fluency in both English and Burmese
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communications skills in both English and Myanmar
  • Committed, results-oriented, and solid team player
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidential information with high level of integrity
  • Able to plan, organize, work under pressure and tight deadline, in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Good to have experience in Myanmar typing
