ROLE PURPOSE
This role is primarily responsible for analyzing of credit proposals for new and existing clients in accordance of financial performance to alleviate in Financial Risk, and assessing of repayment capacities and capabilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primarily accountable for credit risk assessment, decision or recommendation for Corporate Banking in line with the banks’ risk appetite, credit policy and banking regulations
Partner product and relationship teams to optimize credit structuring to support customer’s requirements while mitigating key risks.
Review and assess credit applications, credit reports and other product portfolio documents in alignment with Yoma Bank’s credit policy standards and AWS.
Maintain a strong working relationship with the stakeholders throughout the credit value chain.
Analyze and identify potential risks related to credit, financial, and market conditions, whilst considering the opportunities.
Support implementing and managing policy, guidelines and procedures to enhance business credit decisions, ensure early identification and management of credit stress/concentrations and optimize the risk reward of the portfolio.
Consolidate the risk assessment findings and submit a recommendation to the approving authority in a timely manner.
Review approval letters and other documentation prepared by team members for quality and accuracy.
Conduct physical on-site verifications on a case-by-case basis as required
Ensure that credit related items and other related documentation are filed in the respective document management systems.
High profile role required to present and make recommendations to Executive Credit Committee
Support execution of Yoma Bank’s vision to build a better Myanmar
Ensure team members receive adequate support and resources to effectively perform assigned tasks.
The successful candidate will be accountable for supporting training and the development of more junior credit resources.
Perform additional assignments as necessary.

Qualifications Required
Experience
Minimum 7 years’ work experience conducting in credit analysis/underwriting of commercial loans
Knowledge & Skills
Consistently work on various projects, self-reliantly and achieved required objectives with limited supervision.
Ability to work within a team environment, interact with peers and management within the bank as well as with the other departments.
Education & Special Training
University degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Engineering or otherwise quantitative field
Languages
Excellent verbal and written communication skills besides strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English Presentation and Communication highly desirable
