Zabai is a forward-thinking EdTech company specializing in providing a modern Learning Management System (LMS) tailored to the Myanmar education sector.  Zabai’s growing portfolio includes highly interactive and engaging courses in vocational training, soft skills, and basic education. We are now launching a Tutor Portal to connect AI-powered learning with real teacher support - starting with Math Tutoring as our pilot subject.

Position Summary: 

We are looking for an experienced and motivated High School Math Tutor to play a central role in the pilot phase of Zabai’s Tutor Portal. 

The selected tutor will help structure and organize the math learning content, deliver tutoring sessions to students, and provide feedback that shapes how Zabai’s blended tutoring model develops. 

This role combines teaching and development and is ideal for someone who is passionate about math education, skilled at adapting learning to different student levels, and excited about using new digital tools to make math more engaging. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and deliver math tutoring sessions (Grades 6–12) using a blended learning model. 

• Structure and organize the tutoring content, including lesson plans, exercises, and supporting materials aligned with the Myanmar curriculum. 

• Develop and adapt resource materials, such as textbooks, videos, online resources, and practice activities. 

• Use Zabai’s AI Tutor and digital platform to monitor student progress and provide personalized support. 

• Develop individualized learning paths for students with different abilities and learning needs. 

• Conduct small-group and one-on-one tutoring sessions to build student understanding and confidence and document each sessions’ feedback questions and outcomes. 

• Identify gaps in existing content within the app and propose new materials to fill them. 

• Adapt lessons to leverage the AI app as a learning tool 

• Assist in recording high-quality video tutorials explaining key math concepts and solving problems.  

• Collaborate with the Zabai education and development teams to test platform features, share feedback, and suggest improvements. 

• Document insights from sessions to support future training and scaling. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Education, or related field. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience teaching math at secondary or high-school level. 
• Strong knowledge of Myanmar’s math curriculum and assessment structure. 
• Confident using digital learning tools and integrating technology into teaching. 
• Skilled at designing interactive and student-centered lessons. 
• Strong communication skills in Myanmar (English preferred). 
• Creative, proactive, and genuinely passionate about helping students learn math in new ways. 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills: 

• Experience with e-learning, blended or online tutoring. 
• Ability to identify and organize high-quality educational resources. 
• Enthusiastic about working in an experimental, innovation-focused environment.
