ROLE PURPOSE  

The Business Analyst in the Digital Product department plays a key role in developing digital assets and products for the bank, ensuring the alignment of digital solutions with customer needs and business goals. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to deliver customer-centric value through digital applications. 

• Translate customer needs into process flows, functional requirements, and detailed specifications that guide the SCRUM team during development. 

• Analyze and evaluate existing processes, recommending enhancements to improve the overall customer experience and efficiency. 

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and insights that can enhance the functionality. 

• Gather and document business and functional requirements for new features. 

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to optimize user journeys and usability, ensuring a seamless experience across different devices and operating systems. 

• Define and document user stories and acceptance criteria for product features 

• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) by creating test plans, gathering feedback, and ensuring that all features meet business requirements before release. 

• Engage with customer support and operations teams to understand user pain points and suggest refinements that improve overall satisfaction and product engagement. 

• Train internal teams and create user guides to ensure that new features are understood and supported throughout the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field. 

• Professional certification in Scrum, Agile, Business Analysis or Product Management (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional CBAP certification). 

• Strong knowledge of the banking or financial services industry with a comprehensive understanding of the payments landscape. 

• Proven ability to translate customer needs into effective product designs and identify additional value-added opportunities. 

• Basic experience with product creation roles and hands-on product development

• Understanding of banking and financial service operations with the ability to align digital solutions with business and customer needs. 

• Skilled in identifying customer needs, translating these into product features, and converting product features into detailed business and functional requirements. 

Education

Essential 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 

Desirable 

• Professional certifications in Agile, Scrum, Business Analysis or Product Management 

Experience

Essential  

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, particularly in banking, fintech, or financial services. 
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, translating customer requirements into functional specifications.

Desirable 

• Experience in product development within a digital banking environment or fintech. 
• Previous experience contributing to large-scale digital transformation projects
