The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and management of multiple construction and engineering projects. This includes overseeing project planning, execution, financial performance, human resources, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. The role demands strong leadership, effective communication, and strategic planning to drive success across all assigned projects

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple engineering and construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, construction procedures, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Manage all aspects of project administration, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and reporting.
  • Supervise and coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Approve project proposals, monitor expenditures, and manage cash flow forecasting.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and support professional development of project team members.
  • Identify project risks or resource shortages and propose timely corrective actions to the Project Director.
  • Monitor and review project progress, provide status updates, and ensure timely delivery of milestones and final deliverables.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance and health & safety regulations during site visits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and improve interdepartmental cooperation.
  • Support the QS department in sourcing vendors, preparing contracts, and managing RFP/RFQ processes.
  • Draft project-related documents including manuals, policies, and proposals based on directives from the Project Director.
  • Track potential projects and assist in resource planning for future opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or related field).
  • Advanced education or specialized training in Project Management or Engineering is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Property Development
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of project planning tools, construction processes, and engineering standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with local construction laws and regulations.
