The Social Impact Communications Manager is responsible for driving strategic communication efforts for socially impactful activities within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing communication strategies related to gender equality, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), sustainability, PWD (Persons with Disabilities), internal campaigns, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) projects, international awards, and stakeholder management. The Social Impact Communications Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and engagement with stakeholders, internally and externally, to advance the organization's social impact objectives. The manager will also manage contact information and engagement with stakeholders in both local and international communities including but not limited to Embassies, Chambers of commerce, and INGOs.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute strategic communications and stakeholder engagement plans aligned with the bank’s social purpose and sustainability goals
  • Integrate social impact and ESG priorities into business strategy in collaboration with senior management
  • Create and manage stakeholder mapping, partnerships, and engagement with key groups (e.g., NGOs, embassies, chambers, media, KOLs)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, and lead stakeholder interactions and messaging related to Social Impact Communication.
  • Develop and deliver compelling content across different channels ensuring consistent messaging
  • Identify and drive ESG, sustainability, and community initiatives, including reporting and impact opportunities
  • Use research, insights, and data to inform strategy and measure impact
  • Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment across teams and initiatives
  • Drive employee engagement and awareness programs to foster a culture of social responsibility
  • Track, report, and maintain stakeholder engagement records and databases for effective coordination and reporting

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in strategic communications, social impact, sustainability, or stakeholder engagement
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing CSR / social impact initiatives
  • Good understanding of CSR, ESG, SDGs, and sustainability reporting frameworks
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze trends, stakeholder needs, and impact data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders
  • Solid project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Ability to drive collaboration and foster a culture of social responsibility
