Key Responsibilities

  • Trade Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with company sales and marketing objectives.
  • Create annual trade marketing plans, promotional calendars, and channel activation programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product visibility and retail execution.

In-store Execution & Merchandising

  • Ensure strong in-store visibility and merchandising standards across all channels.
  • Develop and manage POSM (Point of Sale Materials) and display activities.
  • Monitor retail execution quality and product availability in the market.

Promotions & Activation Management

  • Plan and execute trade promotions, consumer promotions, and retail activation programs.
  • Coordinate product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional events at store level.
  • Evaluate promotion effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Sales & Distributor Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales teams to achieve distribution and sales targets.
  • Support distributors and retail partners with marketing initiatives and trade programs.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts, retailers, and channel partners.

Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct market visits, competitor analysis, and retail audits regularly.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and channel effectiveness.
  • Prepare trade marketing reports and performance presentations.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Manage trade marketing budgets efficiently.
  • Monitor ROI of promotions, activations, and merchandising investments.
  • Ensure cost-effective execution of trade activities.

Team Coordination & Leadership

  • Coordinate with brand marketing, operations, and merchandising teams.
  • Guide merchandising teams and field activation staff to ensure execution excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in FMCG trade marketing.
  • Strong understanding of retail channels, distribution systems, and merchandising.
  • Experience in managing promotions and retail activations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and travel for market visits.
