An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Role Purpose

Develop and execute the brand strategy for Carlsberg Myanmar’s local power brand to build strong consumer-relevant equity, while driving volume growth, market share, and consumer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

 

Brand Strategy

  • Define and implement the brand strategy for the assigned brand in Carlsberg Myanmar.
  • Monitor brand performance and drive growth and profitability.

 

Consumer Equity Building

  • Develop initiatives to strengthen consumer-relevant brand equity.
  • Conduct market research and consumer insights analysis to guide brand positioning.
  • Drive innovation and new product development aligned with consumer trends.

 

Consumer Activations

  • Plan and deliver impactful consumer activation campaigns across channels.
  • Leverage digital and experiential marketing to engage target audiences.
  • Measure effectiveness of activations and optimize for future campaigns.

 

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with regional and global teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Partner with sales, finance, and supply chain for seamless execution.
  • Manage external agencies for creative development and activation delivery.

 

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Set KPIs for brand health, promotion and activation effectiveness.
  • Analyze market share, volume growth, and consumer engagement metrics.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Job Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Proven track record in strategic brand building and project leadership.
  • Strong experience in campaign planning, execution, and budget management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required, including quarterly out-of-town market visits and weekly in-town market visits.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related commercial roles.
  • Experience in FMCG or beverage industry is an advantage.
