We operate state-of-the-art rice & oil processing facilities across Myanmar, focusing on operational excellence and supply chain efficiency to support the nation’s agricultural and industrial sectors.

 

About the Role

As Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the total warehouse lifecycle at one of the UAPPT's facilities in Thilawa Special Economic Zone, Thanlyin. You are responsible for ensuring 100% inventory accuracy, managing large-scale labor teams, and optimizing logistics workflows to support our production and sales targets.

 

Job Description

  • Operations Management: Direct daily warehouse activities, including space planning, manpower allocation, and timely order processing.

  • Inventory Control: Ensure physical stock matches system records (SQL/automated systems) through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.

  • Logistics Coordination: Partner with Sales, Purchase, and Production departments to synchronize receiving and delivery schedules.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and coach warehouse staff and labor teams, ensuring high productivity and strict adherence to safety protocols.

  • Financial Oversight: Monitor warehouse expenditures, implement cost-saving initiatives, and manage stock write-off simulations.

  • Process Improvement: Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices for receiving, storing, and shipping.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present monthly operational reports, aging stock analysis, and future capacity requirement plans to the Factory Manager.

 

Job Overview

  • Working Hour: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Working Day: Monday to Saturday

  • Holiday: Sunday and Gazette Holidays

  • Report To: Factory Manager, Head of Operations

  • Team management: Up to 25 staffs in Warehouse unit & over 100 General Worker

  • Work Location: UAPPT Factory, Thilawa Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Yangon

Job Requirements

  • Education: Any Bachelor’s Degree (Management or Logistics background preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, ideally within a factory or production environment.

  • Technical Skills: Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database management/SQL.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage large teams of employees and manual labor in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Competencies: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve supplier/customer complaints efficiently.
