Job Description

We will be recruiting for this position at the upcoming JobNATION job fair Yangon on 18th May, 2024 at Novotel Hotel Yangon.

  1. Assist Project Managers in all phases of electrical power generation project development, which may include feasibility studies, conceptual design, permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  2. Participate in technical studies to assess the possibilities of proposed projects, (fossil fuel, solar, wind, etc.), environmental impact, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Support the procurement process by preparing bid packages, evaluating vendor proposals, and negotiating contracts for electrical equipment and services.
  4. Manage project budgets and schedules, tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and reporting to Project Managers.
  5. Maintain strong communication channels with internal stakeholders (engineering, construction, operations) and external parties (regulators, contractors, suppliers).

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical power generation project development or a relevant field.
  3. Strong understanding of electrical power generation systems, including generation technologies, transmission and distribution infrastructure, and power plant operations.
  4. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. English proficiency in technical writing and presentations.
  8. Driving license is preferred.
