Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

  • Manage day-to-day procurement activities for local and limited overseas purchases
  • Source and develop reliable local suppliers for construction materials and equipment
  • Handle RFQ process, quotation comparison, and cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Issue and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely fulfillment
  • Coordinate with project/site teams and warehouse for material requirements and delivery planning
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites and warehouses
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics teams for overseas shipments (when required)
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation
  • Resolve procurement issues such as delays, shortages, or quality problems
  • Support procurement planning in line with project budgets

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in procurement
  • Strong background in local purchasing, preferably in construction, trading, or project-based companies
  • Good negotiation and cost control skills
  • Ability to perform quotation comparison and price analysis
  • Familiarity with construction materials, specifications, and BOQ
  • Basic understanding of import procedures and shipping documents
  • Strong coordination and communication skills (with suppliers, site teams, warehouse)
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines
