Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Conduct deep-dive research into market trends, competitor landscapes, and emerging sectors in Myanmar’s steel trading industry
  • Perform GAP analysis on current product offerings versus market demand.
  • Utilize statistical tools to forecast sales trends and inventory requirements.
  • Identify and vet potential local and international partners, suppliers, and distributors.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases for new ventures, including Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) and ROI projections.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts and oversee the onboarding of new accounts.
  • Analyze internal sales and supply chain workflows to identify bottlenecks and suggest automated or streamlined solutions
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for our internal systems (ERP/CRM).
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years in Business Development or Strategic Planning, preferably within the trading, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
  • *Proficiency in Data Visualization ( Power BI, or advanced Excel).
  • Experience with SWOT and PESTLE analysis frameworks.
  • Exceptional negotiation tactics, analytical thinking, and the ability to "speak the language" of both sales and operations.
  • Multilingual capabilities (English and Burmese are essential; Mandarin is a plus)
