Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with the procurement department to review vendor quotations, assist in cost analysis, and ensure timely ordering of materials and services.
  • Prepare detailed comparisons and proposals, and obtain approval from the Board of Directors (BOD).
  • Possess excellent knowledge of the local market, including suppliers, contractors, and consultants, to support informed decision-making.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress and perform cost control analysis to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare interim and final payment applications, including valuation of completed works.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost reporting and project delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all project cost documentation and contracts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in civil construction (buildings, infrastructure, or roads/bridges)

  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, and contract management

  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD; experience with QS software is an advantage

  • Familiar with local building codes and safety standards

  • Conversational English proficiency

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities

  • Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills

  • Committed to quality, safety, and ethical standards
