Job Description

  • Develop user-friendly and actionable dashboards, graphs, and visualizations, and provide end-user training on these dashboards.
  • Create tabular data reports and analysis reports as per business requirements, and distribute to business-users using automated digital platforms.
  • Conduct data extraction, cleaning, processing, analysis and verification, and interpret data to produce insights.
  • Uphold a strong knowledge and best practices of data modeling.
  • Ensure proper documentation and secure storage of data.
  • Support enabling managers, stakeholders, and executives in the business to facilitate decision-making based on data.
  • Learn business processes and digital workflows to identify areas for improvement by utilizing data products.
  • Cooperate and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support project endeavors.
  • Ensure secure handling of confidential data in line with organizational guidelines.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering skill development across the team.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrates proven working experience as a data analyst or similar roles, with strong analytical skills, capable of data analysis, trends identification, and result reporting.
  • Possesses strong competency in creating dashboards on PowerBI and Excel with proper data models and DAX measures.
  • Exhibits proficiency in managing large datasets and working with relational databases.
  • Demonstrates adeptness in data querying using optimized SQL, and comprehension of ETL frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Python and the capability to learn data handling with Python libraries.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills and possesses problem-solving aptitude.
  • Exhibits keen attention to detail, and ability to quickly acquire business domain.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility, independence, and self-motivation.
  • Experience with Cloud services: AWS, Azure or GCP will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in the financial sector is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in economics, information management, statistics, engineering, mathematics, accounting, computer science or any graduates with equivalent experience.
