An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Serve as the primary contact on behalf of AYA SOMPO with Japanese-speaking clients, partners and stakeholders.
Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored insurance solutions.
Target industries include manufacturing, trading, logistics, construction, banking, education and government organizations.
Translate business documents, presentations and communication materials between Japanese and English/Myanmar (as required).
Facilitate smooth communication between local teams and Japanese counterparts.
Assist in identifying business opportunities within the Japanese market segment.
Support the sales team in delivering presentations and proposals to Japanese-speaking clients.
Handle insurance claims, queries, and policy changes for Japanese clients.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal and external regulations.
Provide insights on Japanese culture and business etiquette to ensure effective collaboration and relationship building.
Promote cross-cultural understanding within the team.

Job Requirements

Proficiency in Japanese and English (both written and spoken).
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Insurance or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience within the Japanese Business Environment.
Prior experience working with Japanese clients or in a multicultural environment is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Familiarity with insurance products, policies and claims processes.
Preferred: Experience in non-life insurance, insurance broking or working with Japanese companies overseas.
