The Deputy Head of Bancassurance will assume a pivotal role in orchestrating and directing bancassurance strategies across corporate, digital, and Retail segments within the banking sector. This position requires adept leadership in the development, execution, and management of bancassurance initiatives tailored to these specific segments.

• Develop and implement comprehensive bancassurance strategies aligned with corporate, digital, and retail segments to meet business objectives and optimize revenue streams.
• Foster robust relationships with internal stakeholders, including corporate banking, digital channels managers, and retail management teams, to ensure the alignment of bancassurance solutions with segment-specific requirements and the overarching organizational goals.
• Collaborate closely with product development and marketing teams to introduce and promote bancassurance products and services effectively across corporate, digital, and branch channels, addressing their distinct needs.
• Oversee adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines, ensuring bancassurance operations within the corporate, digital, and retail segments comply with industry regulations and legal requisites.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team focusing on bancassurance in these segments, ensuring effective performance management and the achievement of targeted outcomes.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and segment- specific consumer behaviors to identify opportunities for enhancing bancassurance.
• Foster strong relationships with insurance providers, negotiating agreements and optimizing partnerships.
• Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of bancassurance initiatives.
• Analyse sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure that all Bancassurance activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Implement risk management measures to mitigate potential issues related to insurance products.
• Develops talent within the team by providing coaching to achieve the defined goals.
• Foster a strong team ethos and collaborate seamlessly with partners and business units together with the KBZ’s Bancassurance team.
• Execute other assigned tasks based on team and business priorities.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to adhere to KBZ’s principles and values.
• Provide support by undertaking any other additional functions as delegated by the Head of Bancassurance and SMT.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field/Master's degree is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in bancassurance or insurance operations within corporate, digital, and Retail segments of the banking sector, with a minimum of 7 years in managerial or leadership roles.
• Profound understanding of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory compliance pertaining to bancassurance operations in corporate, digital, and retail segments.
• Strong leadership skills, strategic acumen, and excellent communication abilities necessary for effective collaboration across diverse segments and stakeholder groups.
