The Digital Learning Design Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s digital learning strategy, e-learning ecosystem, and learning experience design initiatives. This role will perform end-to-end e-learning planning, content development, learner engagement and learner adoption strategies to increase learning effectiveness and user participation. The role is responsible for transforming traditional learning into engaging digital learning experiences through innovative instructional design, interactive content, learning technologies, and data-driven engagement strategies.

 

Job Description

 

  • Develop and implement the digital learning/e-learning design, strategy and roadmap based on business Objectives.
  • Create annual and quarterly e-learning plans aligned with business goals and competency frameworks.
  • Develop digital learning policies, standards, frameworks, and governance.
  • Create scalable and sustainable digital learning solutions across all business units.
  • Lead the design and development of high-quality e-learning courses, microlearning, videos, simulations, and interactive learning content and scripting.
  • Understand Adult Learning principles and ensure all learning content is engaging, interactive, visually appealing, and learner-centred.
  • Review and approve digital learning content quality before deployment.
  • Collaborate with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and Trainer team to convert classroom training into digital learning programs.
  • Ensure content is mobile-friendly and compatible with LMS systems.
  • Perform course curation in LMS
  • Coordinate with the system management team and regarding system enhancement and troubleshooting.
  • Develop learner engagement plan/campaigns to increase e-learning participation and completion rates.
  • Create gamification initiatives, learning challenges, badges, rewards, and engagement activities and increase active users, course completion rates, and learning platform utilization.
  • Analyse learner behaviour and engagement data to improve learning adoption.
  • Promote self-learning culture and continuous learning mindset across the organization.
  • Ensure digital learning initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including HR, business units, SMEs, vendors, and management.
  • Lead and mentor team member and build team capability in e-learning development
  • Encourage creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Monitor digital learning effectiveness and prepare monthly reports
  • Other duties assigned by Supervisor.

  • A degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong e-Leaning curriculum development (hard and soft) skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office and G suite
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives, with a focus on achieving high standards of training excellence
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, E-learning, Instructional Design, or Digital Learning.
  • Minimum 2 years in managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience in designing and implementing digital learning.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, microfinance, or corporate environment is preferred
