  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of the trading business, including procurement, sales, operations, financial performance, and market expansion.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market share and profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities, product lines, and potential markets for expansion.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt trading strategies.
  • Drive innovation and implement new trading models or digital platforms for business efficiency.
  • Develop strong relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance cost efficiency and customer demand.
  • Lead and support the sales team in achieving revenue targets and developing key client accounts.
  • Ensure smooth import, export, and domestic trade operations, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize logistics, warehousing, and distribution to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Implement risk management strategies for trading activities, including currency fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
  • Develop and manage the company’s budget, financial forecasting, and cost controls.
  • Monitor and improve profit margins, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, trade laws, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team across sales, operations, and procurement.
  • Develop training programs to enhance employee skills and industry knowledge.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in a senior management role within a trading company.
  • Strong understanding of global trade regulations, logistics, and procurement strategies.
  • Proven experience in sales, negotiation, and business development.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and margin optimization.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic Thinking & Business Development and Good Communication Skills
