Job Description

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government ministries, regulatory authorities, and relevant public sector stakeholders
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and policy developments, assessing their potential impact on the company’s businesses
  • Provide timely analysis and recommendations to senior management on regulatory risks, compliance requirements, and strategic opportunities
  • Represent the company in meetings, consultations, and engagements with government agencies and external stakeholders
  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies to strengthen the company’s reputation and relationships
  • Coordinate with industry associations, chambers of commerce, and business networks to support common policy initiatives
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and meetings and external engagements
  • Support corporate communications relating to government and public affairs where appropriate

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Government Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Public Policy, Corporate Affairs, Legal Affairs, or a related function
  • Experience working with government agencies, regulators, or industry associations is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of Myanmar’s regulatory environment and government processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with the ability to interpret legislation and regulatory developments
