Job Description

Job Title: HR Executive

Level: Team Leading Role

Salary: 700,000 to 800,000 MMK per month (based on experience and performance)

Experience Required: 2–4 years, with at least 1 year leading or supervising a team

Job Purpose

The HR Executive is part of the leading role of Elevate’s HR and Administrative team. This role is responsible for shaping and managing people operations, ensuring Elevate recruits, develops, and retains top talent while maintaining efficient HR systems and office administration. The HR Executive serves as the main bridge between company leadership and employees, ensuring Elevate’s culture of high performance, transparency, and trust is upheld.

By overseeing recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and engagement, the HR Executive ensures that every employee experience aligns with Elevate’s DNA: Humble, Hungry, People Smart, Ownership, and Competitive Spirit. The role also requires leadership of junior HR staff, ensuring Officers and Assistants perform to standards, grow in their roles, and provide reliable support across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment cycle: manpower planning, preparing scorecards, screening candidates, conducting structured interviews, and ensuring high-quality hires.

  • Partner with managers across departments to forecast hiring needs and design recruitment strategies aligned with business growth.

  • Reduce average time-to-fill while maintaining strict standards for candidate quality and culture fit.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Ensure all onboarding checklists (contracts, forms, systems access, asset allocation) are completed within 3 working days for new hires.

  • Coordinate with managers to provide new employees with proper training schedules, induction sessions, and culture briefings.

  • Oversee clearance and asset return processes during employee exits; conduct exit interviews and share insights with leadership.

Employee Engagement & Culture Building

  • Plan, organize, and execute employee engagement programs, including recognition initiatives, surveys, birthdays, anniversaries, and team bonding activities.

  • Act as a culture ambassador, promoting Elevate DNA values through daily behavior, coaching, and recognition.

  • Address employee concerns with fairness, empathy, and confidentiality.

HR Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contracts, agreements, attendance, and leave.

  • Ensure company HR policies are followed and updated in line with labor law and business needs.

  • Coordinate with Finance to align HR operations with payroll, taxation, and reporting.

Performance Management & Development

  • Support managers in implementing performance review systems, probation evaluations, and talent development programs.

  • Track probation pass rates, turnover rates, and conversion ratios to monitor HR effectiveness.

Office & Event Administration

  • Oversee facilities, vendors, and office maintenance to ensure a productive work environment.

  • Supervise Officers and Assistants in handling supplies, refreshments, and admin needs.

  • Lead HR/Admin support during company events, student fairs, and university partner visits.

Commitment

  • Minimum 15 months (3-month probation + 12-month confirmed).

  • Must respond to internal communications within 10 minutes during office hours.

  • Available for after-hours or weekend work during urgent HR matters, student fairs, or partner visits.

Elevate DNA (Cultural Fit)

  • Humble: Treats every employee fairly, open to feedback, avoids favoritism.

  • Hungry: Takes initiative to improve HR systems and solve problems before being asked.

  • People Smart: Reads situations well, communicates clearly, and builds trust across all levels.

  • Ownership: Accepts responsibility for results, not just effort; ensures HR outcomes are met.

  • Competitive Spirit: Always pushes for better standards, faster results, and higher engagement.
