Job Summary
Learning and Development Supervisor at GRAND GUARDIAN NIPPON LIFE INSURANCE in Kamaryut, Yangon, will support a high-performing workforce by planning and delivering effective training programs, improving employee capability, and strengthening talent development across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver training initiatives aligned with business goals and workforce needs.
  • Assess learning needs, identify skill gaps, and recommend suitable development programs and solutions.
  • Support onboarding, induction, and continuous learning activities for employees across functions.
  • Develop training materials, presentations, and learning resources to ensure engaging sessions.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, collect feedback, and prepare reports on participation and outcomes.
  • Coordinate with managers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of programs.
  • Maintain training records, schedules, attendance, and documentation accurately and timely.
  • Assist in building a learning culture that supports performance, growth, and employee engagement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in training, learning and development, HR, or a similar support role.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with a professional approach.
  • Ability to assess training needs and organize learning programs effectively.
  • Good interpersonal skills and confidence in working with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Strong coordination, planning, and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in the banking, insurance, or microfinance sector is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
