We are now looking candidates for the Intellectual Property Executive position with one of the regionally well known Intellectual Property Law Firms.

 

The position is to be based in Yangon, Myanmar.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain clients’ IP portfolios in Myanmar, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and industrial designs.
  • Prepare and submit IP applications and related documents to the relevant authorities.
  • Monitor deadlines for filings, renewals, and maintenance of IP rights.
  • Coordinate with the Head office and external parties on IP matters.
  • Provide basic advisory support on IP matters to clients.
  • Conduct trademark searches and prepare reports where required.
  • Respond to client inquiries and ensure timely communication.
  • Liaise with relevant government authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Support networking and client engagement activities in Myanmar.
  • Monitor updates in Myanmar IP laws and industry practices.
  • Contribute insights, articles, or updates related to Myanmar IP developments.
  • Work closely with the Head office to ensure alignment with company policies and processes

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IPs registration or related IP work in Myanmar.
  • Certified or Qualified IP agent (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
