Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, distribution agreements, marketing agreements, and licensing agreements. 
  • Assist in managing and resolving legal disputes, including product liability claims, consumer complaints, and commercial litigation. 
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders to develop effective strategies and find favorable resolutions.
  • Conduct internal audits, identify areas of non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct legal research on various topics relevant to the FMCG industry, corporate governance, and emerging legal issues. 
  • Prepare legal opinions, memos, and reports to inform key stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations impacting the FMCG industry, such as product labeling, advertising, and consumer protection laws.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. A Master's degree in Law or relevant specialization is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years working experience in a legal role within the FMCG industry or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations governing the FMCG industry, including consumer protection, advertising, and product labeling.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property laws and experience in managing trademark portfolios.
  • Proven experience in corporate governance and acting as a Corporate Secretary.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal and governance issues and provide practical advice and solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
