ROLE PURPOSE

The Senior Associate plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient checking of required loan documents preparation of loan contracts. Review and verify loan documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the Bank's Credit Policy, and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cross check validity of KYC information, collateral documents and loan information in the core banking system.

• Preparing loan contracts based on the approved loan product and authority guidelines.

• Verify all loan documentation prior to disbursement to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

• Ensure all documents in the pre-disbursement condition of notification letter are completed.

• Ensure sum of insurance premiums coverage meets market value of the Assessor report and are processed before disbursement.

• Coordinate with branches and other related department to facilitate timely loan disbursement by collecting and validating required documentation and information.

• Data entry of post-disbursement conditions as per the approval letter in the system.

• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Team Lead.

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

• Ability to work within a team environment, interact with peers and management within the bank as well as with the other departments.

• Proficient in Myanmar language typing.

• Strong written communication skills in both English and Myanmar.

Education & Special Training   

Essential 

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.

Desirable

• Comprehensive understanding of banking lending processes.

•  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and email communication.

Experience

Essential  

• Minimum 2 years of knowledge in related fields.

Desirable

• More than two years of hands-on experience in managing business loan operations, including end-to-end loan processing and thorough document handling.

Languages

Desirable

• Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written) is an advantage.
