Role Purpose

Risk Division requires the services of Risk Infrastructure & Analytics Manager to uplift Risk Infrastructure of Yoma Bank by implementing innovative solutions and process flows, engage with external vendors and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to fulfil business requirement of the project initiatives by Risk Division.

 

Uplift Infrastructure & Systems

  • Responsible for onboarding new innovative solutions to uplift the risk infrastructure of the bank 

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders for strategic initiatives, facilitate requirement gathering workshops to engage risk colleagues and other stakeholders to elicit and validate business requirements 

  • Liaison between business, risk, and technology teams in translating business requirements into process workflows and innovative solutions

  • Ensures that detailed business requirements and user stories are clearly defined, well-documented, and approved by the stakeholders

  • Provide support to end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with functional test cases 

  • Analyse interaction between system elements, system performance, issues, and implications for integration across the entire solution 

  • Assist in the development of user manuals, project documentation, instruction memo and training materials

  • Daily monitoring and troubleshooting of system issues and escalate timely as per procedure

  Data Analytics

  • Responsible for development of Risk Data Analytics and ensure availability of quality data in bank

  • Accountable for coordinating with IT/Business to get the data on time to support project initiatives 

  • Accountable for accuracy and reliability of data in System and reports generated 

  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to fix inconsistency in the reports by properly following up and documenting with error logs  

  • Generate and analyse reports/dashboards and raise abnormalities to respective teams

  • Oversight generation and accuracy of Daily/weekly/monthly report pack preparation 

  • Oversight generation and accuracy of NPL committee reports 

Other Duties: 

  • Liaise with respective departments to process the vendor bills and get approval for payments 
  • Assist /support other administrative requirements for RIA department

  • Other duties as assigned by HOD

Job Requirements

Knowledge & Skills  

  • Excellent competency in computer (MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerBI, Power Query, etc.) and presentation skills 

  • Knowledge of data visualization, analytics and design thinking methodologies will be an added advantage

  • Familiar with project management and/or other tracking tools (JIRA/Confluence) 

  • Ability to cut through ambiguity to identify core issues

  • Be able to identify process improvement opportunities

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills 

  • Strong rigor in execution with an attention to detail 

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity 

  • Possess professionalism and integrity in dealings with peers and customers

  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and tell a compelling story

  • Manage time effectively and work well under pressure and meet deadlines 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and take quick actions based on importance/urgency

  • Able to assist team and management. 

Experience 

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience as Business/System Analyst, Quality Assurance Tester, Product Owner/Program Manager 
  • Prior Project Management, Data Analytics & Reporting roles in Banking/IT/Finance industry is preferred 

Education & Special Training  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Management, Finance and/or industry specific qualifications

Language

  • Strong proficiency in English is required
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
