Job Title: Organizational Development & Performance Management (OD & PM) Manager

About the Role

The OD & PM Manager is responsible for driving organizational effectiveness, structuring talent capabilities, and leading the end-to-end performance management lifecycle across GBS Group. This role focuses on aligning the organizational structure with strategic business goals, cultivating a high-performance culture, and ensuring objective metric evaluations across all business units.

 

Job Description

  • Organizational Design: Continuously analyze and refine organizational structures, reporting lines, and job designs to maximize operational efficiency.

  • Succession Planning: Develop and manage succession planning and talent mapping frameworks for critical roles while monitoring development programs with SBU Heads.

  • KPI & OKR Frameworks: Design, implement, and monitor Weighted KPIs and OKR frameworks across diverse SBUs, including the HR department.

  • Appraisal Management: Lead the annual and mid-year performance appraisal cycles, ensuring fair, transparent, and data-driven evaluations.

  • Performance Improvement: Collaborate with Corporate HR Department and SBU Heads/Directors to manage underperformance by creating and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).

  • Promotion Assessments: Lead and execute promotion exams and structural assessments for potential successors based on appraisal data.

  • Employee Engagement: Design and execute corporate employee engagement programs, analyzing survey metrics to present actionable strategies to Senior Management.

  • Incentive Governance: Review and validate monthly performance-based incentive calculations from all SBUs to ensure absolute policy compliance prior to payroll integration.

 

Job Overview:

  • Working Hour: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Working Day: Monday to Saturday
  • OFF days: Sunday and Gazette Holidays
  • Work Location: GBS Head Office, Hlaing township, Yangon

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in HR, Organizational Design, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • 5–7 years of robust HR experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Organizational Development and Performance Management in a corporate environment.

  • Strong knowledge of people analytics, data-interpretation skills, and a strategic mindset.

  • Advanced stakeholder management capabilities with strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
