Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing stock flow, logistics, sales order coordination, and overall operational efficiency across retail and wholesale channels. The role ensures smooth inbound and outbound operations, effective resource utilization, accurate reporting, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock & Inventory Management

• Monitor stock movement between warehouses, retail outlets, and wholesale partners.
• Conduct regular stock checks and follow up on discrepancies to minimize stock loss and shrinkage.
• Analyze stock flow and requirements and provide recommendations to the Branch Manager.

2. Logistics & Transportation

• Plan and coordinate delivery routes and vehicle schedules to ensure timely distribution.
• Monitor vehicle utilization and fuel consumption to control transportation costs.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics and ensure smooth delivery operations.

3. Sales & Order Management

• Coordinate with sales teams on Purchase Orders (PO), Sales Orders (SO), Goods Received Notes (GRN), and Issue Notes.
• Coordinate supply with sales demand and resolve operational issues with internal teams and business partners.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with agreed credit terms and conditions.

4. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare operational reports, stock analysis, and performance dashboards.
• Analyze operational data and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Provide regular operational updates and recommendations to the Branch Manager.

5. Compliance & Process Control

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Monitor credit-related processes and identify potential operational and financial risks.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Operations Management, preferably in retail and wholesale business.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock flow, logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations.
• Strong coordination, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; experience with reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and other cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work at the assigned MDY / MLM Branch.
• Candidates residing in or near the respective branch location (MDY / MLM) are highly preferred.
