  • Infrastructure Lifecycle Management: Provision, scale, and maintain a large-scale fleet of bare-metal servers and storage systems, ensuring high availability through Hyper-V virtualization and S2D HCI.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Architect and implement automation playbooks using Ansible to manage OS configurations (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL) and networking equipment, eliminating manual intervention.
  • Hybrid Cloud Integration: Design and maintain a "Hybrid Bridge" by managing cloud sandboxes (Huawei Cloud/Digital Ocean) that mirror on-premises production environments for consistent dev/test cycles.
  • On-Prem Kubernetes Orchestration: Deploy, secure, and lifecycle-manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters directly on bare-metal or VM layers without relying on managed cloud providers.
  • Application Stack Deployment: Configure and optimize high-performance production services, including Nginx reverse proxies, PostgreSQL databases, Redis coaches, and Kafka message brokers.
  • Storage & Data Resilience: Administer on-premises S2D (Storage Spaces Direct) and Minio object storage to ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Support: Maintain and optimize local build runners and artifact repositories to ensure seamless code-to-production workflows for the engineering team.

Job Requirements

  • Virtualization Mastery: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Center environments, specifically managing Hyper-V and virtualized networking (SDN).
  • Advanced Linux Administration: Expert-level knowledge of Linux (Debian, RHEL, or Ubuntu), including Kernel tuning, system management, and deep troubleshooting of the storage stack.
  • Self-Managed Kubernetes: Proven track record of deploying and operating Kubernetes in non-managed environments (on-prem), including CNI, CSI, and Ingress controller management.
  • Automation Proficiency: Deep experience with Ansible (or similar tools like Terraform/Salt Stack) for automating complex infrastructure tasks and configuration drift management.
  • Network Engineering: Strong understanding of physical and logical networking, including VLANs, VPNs, FortiGate Firewalls, and load balancing via Forti DC or HAP Roxy.
  • Database & Middleware Ops: Practical experience in "Day 2" operations for data systems—specifically PostgreSQL (clustering/replication), Kafka, and Redis.
  • Financial Systems Familiarity: Understanding the high-availability requirements for financial ledger databases and the security protocols required for sensitive on-premises environments
