The purpose of a Procurement Operations Manager is to oversee and manage the entire procurement cycle, from sourcing and vendor selection to payment. This role ensures that all purchasing activities are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with company policies and legal regulations.

(Strategic Sourcing and Planning)

• Supplier Identification and Selection: To find and evaluate suppliers based on key factors like price, quality, Lead time, and reliability and also responsible for vetting new suppliers and maintaining a detailed record of both the strengths and weaknesses of existing ones for comparison and analysis.

• Contract Negotiation: Must be lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the most favorable prices, terms, and conditions. This includes drafting and managing contracts to ensure they meet both legal requirements and the organization's needs.

• Demand Forecasting: In collaboration with Inventory and forecast future needs for goods and services. This is crucial for ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time.

• Procure-to-Pay Process Oversight: To manage the entire purchasing process, from the initial requisition and issuing of a purchase order to receiving the goods and handling the invoice. work closely with the finance department to verify invoices and ensure suppliers receive timely and accurate payments.

• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with key suppliers. You act as the main point of contact to resolve issues and ensure that key supplier attributes such as cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and good quality are consistently maintained.

• Policy Adherence to ensure all procurement activities align with Local policies, guidelines, and legal regulations. This also includes managing any potential conflicts of interest.

• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, such as supplier instability, material shortages, and quality issues.

• Auditing & Reporting: Conduct regular audits of procurement processes and records to ensure accuracy and transparency. You will be responsible for reporting on all aspects of your duties.

• Must consistently review, evaluate, compare, and report on every task you are responsible for. Additionally, you need to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration with relevant parties.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or relevant field.
• Minimum 7 years in related fields.

•  Previous working experience as an inventory management for 7 years.

• Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.

• Related experience in logistics or supply management.

• Critical-thinking skills to establish action plans and routinely assess their effectiveness.
