About the Role

Elevate Education is looking for a strong and proactive Recruitment Specialist to support our rapid growth and expansion.

As Elevate continues to grow its teams and regional operations, we need someone who can take ownership of recruitment, manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, actively source strong candidates, and build a reliable talent pipeline for the company.

This is a hands-on recruitment role, not an HR administration position. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for both high-volume recruitment and sourcing candidates for more experienced and managerial positions.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection

• Manage the full recruitment process from approved vacancy to successful hire.
• Prepare and publish job vacancies across relevant recruitment channels.
• Actively source and headhunt suitable candidates instead of relying only on incoming applications.
• Screen CVs and shortlist qualified candidates.
• Conduct initial phone screenings and first-stage interviews.
• Coordinate interviews, assessments, business cases and other selection processes.
• Work closely with the CEO, Heads and Managers on recruitment requirements.
• Conduct reference checks when required.
• Coordinate job offers and support successful candidates through onboarding.
• Ensure every priority vacancy continues progressing without unnecessary delays.

High-Volume Recruitment

• Manage multiple vacancies across different departments simultaneously.
• Build strong candidate pipelines for frequently recruited positions.
• Support recruitment for Yangon Head Office and regional branches.
• Plan recruitment ahead of workforce requirements instead of waiting until positions become urgently vacant.
• Maintain talent pools for recurring positions.

Management & Specialist Recruitment

• Source and approach suitable candidates for managerial and specialist positions.
• Conduct market mapping and targeted candidate searches for difficult-to-fill roles.
• Support recruitment processes for Managers, Heads of Departments and other senior positions.
• Conduct initial screening before qualified candidates progress to management assessment.
• Maintain relationships with potential senior candidates for future opportunities.
• Final assessment and selection of senior leadership positions will remain with the CEO and relevant management.

Candidate Sourcing & Talent Pipeline

• Develop multiple recruitment channels including JobNet, LinkedIn, Facebook, professional networks, employee referrals, universities and direct sourcing.
• Build and maintain an organized candidate database.
• Develop long-term talent pipelines for critical positions.
• Identify new recruitment channels when existing channels are not producing sufficient candidates.
• Maintain relationships with promising candidates even when there is no immediate vacancy.

University & Talent Outreach

• Develop relationships with universities, colleges and other talent sources.
• Support campus recruitment, career fairs and internship programmes.
• Build pipelines of young talent for future junior positions.
• Work with the Marketing Team on recruitment campaigns and employer-branding activities when required.

Recruitment Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and candidate records.
• Monitor every active vacancy and recruitment stage.
• Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment reports.
• Track recruitment KPIs including applications, qualified candidates, interviews, offers, hires and time-to-fill.
• Identify recruitment bottlenecks and take action to resolve them.
• Analyse which recruitment channels generate the strongest candidates.

Recruitment Process Improvement

• Improve recruitment workflows and SOPs.
• Develop and maintain interview guides, candidate scorecards and assessment processes.
• Improve candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Use technology, AI and automation where appropriate to improve recruitment efficiency.
• Continuously improve recruitment speed without compromising hiring quality.

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Experience with high-volume recruitment.
• Strong candidate sourcing and direct-search/headhunting skills.
• Experience recruiting junior and mid-level professional positions.
• Experience sourcing managerial or senior-level candidates is strongly preferred.
• Strong CV screening and interviewing skills.
• Good understanding of recruitment and selection processes.
• Familiarity with Myanmar recruitment channels and candidate markets.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of recruitment results.
• Able to work in a fast-growing environment with changing recruitment priorities.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Good communication skills in Myanmar and English.
