Job Summary

The Regional Product Head will be responsible for leading the strategic growth, market penetration, and overall commercial success of the assigned product portfolio within the Mon State and surrounding regional markets. This role combines market analysis, product positioning, key account management, and team leadership to drive sales volume, optimize distribution networks, and maximize profitability for the Mawlamyine Branch.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Market & Product Management

  • Formulate and execute regional product strategies aligned with AtoZ Group’s overall business objectives.

  • Analyze regional market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting to identify new growth opportunities.

  • Manage the product life cycle and strategic positioning of the portfolio tailored to local markets and construction needs.

2. Sales & Distribution Excellence

  • Drive regional sales targets and ensure the profitable distribution of products across dealers, retailers, and direct project accounts.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including major contractors, developers, architects, and institutional buyers.

  • Optimize the regional supply chain and logistics coordination to ensure timely product availability and minimize stockouts.

3. Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales and product team to achieve collective and individual KPIs.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training on product knowledge and advanced selling techniques.

4. Brand Positioning & Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to implement localized promotional campaigns, trade activations, and stakeholder engagement programs.

  • Enhance brand visibility and reputation within Mawlamyine and the wider regional market.

5. Financial Management & Compliance

  • Manage the regional product budget, credit controls, and outstanding collections effectively.

  • Ensure all regional business operations comply with company policies and local regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field. (MBA or relevant professional diploma is a plus).

  • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in product management or sales leadership within the building materials, construction solutions, or FMCG/industrial sector.

  • Regional Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Mawlamyine / Mon State market dynamics, distribution networks, and local customer behavior.

  • Skills:

    • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.

    • Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

    • Proficiency in data analysis and market forecasting.

  • Language: Fluent in Myanmar and English (Knowledge of local Mon/Karen dialects is an advantage).

  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
