Key Responsibilities 

  • Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with existing and new business customers in Upper Myanmar 
  • Manage key stakeholders of customer companies and understand their financial needs 
  • Source new customers through local networks, referrals, and market knowledge 
  • Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits to understand business operations, facilities, and management quality 
  • Understand customer business models, industry dynamics, and key risks 
  • Structure appropriate lending facilities based on customer needs and industry nature 
  • Promote and grow loans, deposits, fee-based income, and other banking products 
  • Prepare indicative term sheets, credit proposals, and required documentation accurately 
  • Coordinate internal approvals and negotiate terms and conditions with customers 
  • Draft, review, and support execution of facility agreements and finance documents 
  • Coordinate closely with Credit, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams 
  • Monitor loan performance, identify early warning signs, and manage portfolio risk 
  • Balance sustainable business growth with sound credit quality and risk control 
  • Stay updated on economic, market, regulatory, and banking product developments 
  • Build and maintain strong networks within local business and professional communities 
  • Ensure service excellence and timely customer support at all times 
  • Support branch and regional business targets 
  • Provide training, guidance, and on-the-job mentoring to assigned staff when required

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Banking, Finance, or related field)
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in banking or financial services 
  • Experience in Relationship Management, Credit, or Business Development 
  • Strong understanding of Upper Myanmar local businesses (trade, agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, etc.) 
  • Commercial awareness and understanding about how companies make money. 

  • Analytical, able to interpret numbers and view business plans with an open mind. 

  • Self-confidence, Excellent communication and interpersonal skill. 

  • Leadership, good presentation and networking skills.

  • Team player with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. 

  • Enthusiasm to learn and self-motivation.
