Job Summary

A Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, managing staff, and achieving sales targets. The role involves a combination of sales, customer service, inventory management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and train showroom staff to provide exceptional customer service and handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue goals. Monitor and analyze showroom performance metrics such as foot traffic and conversion rates.
  • Create and maintain visually appealing displays to promote sales and showcase products effectively.
  • Manage and Participate in Seasonal Sales Promotions: Oversee and engage in seasonal sales promotions, activities, and in-store events.
  • Ensure that the showroom is well-stocked and that inventory levels are maintained accurately.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the showroom team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Work closely with other departments such as Warehouse, Finance, logistics& operations to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the showroom, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Reporting to Management: Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, along with updated progress reports and customer feedback.
  • Engage with Customers and Suppliers: Interact with customers and suppliers as needed to support operational activities.
  • Lead the Team in Regular Audits: Coordinate regular audits and collaborate with the finance department and warehouse for effective inventory management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail sales or showroom management, preferably in the construction materials or home appliances sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management software
  • Ability to analyze data and report to the Management team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays as needed.
