Senior Operations Manager is responsible for leading all Dry Bulk Cargo handling activities, including Silo and Warehouse management, within the terminal. This role acts as the strategic bridge between Operations and Commercial teams, ensuring operational capabilities align with sales targets and customer expectations. He owns the operational budget in coordination with the Finance Department, drives safety compliance, and optimizes asset utilization to maximize profitability and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily dry bulk terminal operations, including vessel loading/discharging, cargo movements, and truck arrangement.
• Manage Silos and Warehouses inventory planning to ensure optimal space utilization and cargo segregation.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to define realistic throughput capacities and pricing strategies. Moreover, shall be determine the own revenue perceptive and operational perceptive of our assets.
• Develop and manage the annual Operations expenses and CAPEX budget in coordination with the Finance Department.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSSE policies, specifically regarding , silos safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Vessel throughput, Terminal Productivity and Storage Utilization.
• Communicate with regulatory bodies (eg…..) for Licensing, auditing compliance matters.
• Lead, mentor, and manage Shift Managers, Supervisors, and Equipment Operations for 24/7.
• Verify operational data (such as tonnage handled, storage days, resource used) to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Analyze and track current and forecasted capital expenditures for terminal equipment and infrastructure.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce bottlenecks and operational costs.
• Follow up on any other matters instructed by management regarding terminal expansion or strategic planning.
• Oversee and discuss with Facilities team for suitable utilization of our Gensets and proper maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical equipment.
• Must able to communicate with ship officers and crews to get best discharging/loading rate, safety and security of ship and terminal.
• Must able to handle of ship complaints, and deter letter of protest.
• Support setting up Company Policy with Management’s requirement regarding operational standards.

• Proficient in Business English (Written and Verbal).
• Deep understanding of MPA Law, Port Regulations and procedures, and Dry Bulk Cargoes Safety Standards.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Terminal Operations with proven expertise in Warehouse and Logistics management.
• Ability to effectively communicate with directors, shareholders, regulatory personnel, and commercial clients.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget ownership and cost analysis
