Job Purpose

Software Development Manager, working closely with the team and produce good quality, easy to maintain codes. Being one of the best technology people in the team, interface with partners for integrations and support CTO with technical details. Guide and nurture junior members of the team and always look out for continuous improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Determine project requirements and develop effort/cost estimates and work schedules for the team.
• Work/manage team of developers closely and delegate/assign tasks and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Liaise with team members, management, and other teams/departments to ensure projects are completed to standard. Take lead in communication with vendors/partners when needed.
• Lead and work together with team on partner integrations.
• To be hands-on and write efficient codes and help team members when needed.
• Identify key risks, discuss with management and form contingency plans when needed.
• Analyze existing tech operations and processes and come up with improvement plans.
• Keep up with new technologies, trends and maintain regular effort to keep up-to-date.
• Motivate team members and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
• Understand the importance of technical documentations and active owner of documentations to keep them up-to-date.
• Be solution designer/architect and making sure codes are better maintainable, good performance and secure.

• Bachelor Degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent or any valid certification related with software engineering and development
• 3+ years of experience as Tech Lead/Manager or Solution Architect
• Hands-on experience in front end development and backed end development using React JS, Angular JS, Spring Boot, Java etc. with extensive knowledge of those frameworks
• Hands-on experience in JPA/Hibernate and writing complex queries
• Hands-on experience in API, Integrations, SOAP and REST protocols
• Able to demonstrate the fundamental concepts such as OOP, Agile/Scrum, Microservice, ORM, SOA, Kubernetes and Containerization, etc.
• Hands-on experience in at least one API Manager/GW such as Apigee, JBoss Fuse, WSO2, MuleSoft, etc.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps, servers and deployments
• Good experience in any of popular DB server and query language (both SQL and non-SQL)
• Prefer full-stack development experience with ability to show strong knowledge in at least one major programming languages and its ecosystem
• Detail oriented individual with proven problem solving and logical reasoning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mobile App development experience is desirable
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in similar role would be advantageous.
