ROLE PURPOSE

To support the onboarding, administration, and commercial coordination of Agent Banking partners, ensuring alignment with regulatory, contractual, and Bank requirements. The role coordinates partner documentation, commercial arrangements, partner staff readiness, asset and investment records, and partner-level performance reporting to support effective partnership management and smooth Agent Banking operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate partner engagement, onboarding, and ongoing administration of Agent Banking partners in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements, Bank policies, and established procedures.
• Support partner onboarding and governance activities, including documentation, due diligence coordination, regulatory submissions, and implementation of agreed operating requirements.
• Track commercial arrangements, fee structures, commissions, and performance-based incentives in accordance with approved commercial terms.
• Prepare periodic partner performance and commercial analysis to support management review and business decision-making.
• Coordinate and track partner staff onboarding, deboarding, and training requirements to support operational readiness and compliance with Bank requirements.
• Maintain centralized records of partner outlet assets and investment figures to support commercial reviews, cost alignment, and partnership assessment.
• Maintain action trackers and issue logs and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and escalation where required.
• Coordinate with Channel Management, outlet teams, Anchor Branches, and partner staff to support operational readiness and smooth delivery of Agent Banking services.
• Work with channel management and integration teams to ensure performance targets are supported by operational capability.
• Support the VP – Lead, Channel Distribution & Delivery in partner reviews, planning activities, management reporting, and other Agent Banking channel initiatives as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills  

Essential 

• Strong understanding of agent banking, or alternative distribution models
• Proven capability in partner engagement and business development
• Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations in partner-based banking

Desirable

• Experience with agent-based ecosystems
• Exposure to incentive design, commission structures, and productivity models
• Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments

Education & Special Training   

Essential 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related discipline
• Professional certifications in banking, finance, or risk management

 Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or related industries
• Demonstrated experience in managing partner-based distribution channels, agent networks, or branch operations
• Experience in performance management, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder coordination
• Prior experience in community banking, retail banking distribution, or MSME banking
• Experience working with fintechs, MFS providers, or third-party distribution partners
