The role holder is responsible for effectively executes sales strategy and identifying, originating and pursuing new business opportunities to enable achievement of customer acquisition, market share, revenue and profit targets. The role holder is also responsible for supporting the bank’s strategies and initiatives to provide an effective and engaging digital customer on boarding experience, expand the agent and merchant networks, and drive the usage of mobile and digital applications, in order to achieve economic and social development in Myanmar through nation-wide financial inclusion.

• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Conduct research to identify market situation and customer needs.
• Lead exploratory discussions with potential partners and establishing rapport
• Planning and overseeing digital marketing initiatives
• Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels such as eDM, SEM and social media etc
• Collaborate with Sales team to ensure that sale targets (monthly, yearly etc) are met
• Responsible for the department’s media, advertising and sales literature, ensuring that all compliance requirements are met.
• Maintain a high degree of product knowledge and industry updates, trends and market environment in order to identify appropriate initiatives to help promote sales
• Keep track records of sales and revenue.
• Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of constituents including internal teams as well as external potential clients and then help define the go-to-market.

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in business management or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years proven working experience as a business development manager, sales and marketing executive or a relevant role
• Strong education background with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in business management field
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid knowledge of Excel, Web Analytics Tool, CRM, SEO as well as all possible digital channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Viber, WeChat etc
• Showcase good written and oral communication skills in Myanmar and English
• Strong attention to detail, with a real passion for and understanding the nature of banking products and the ability to quickly learn about new technologies.
• Extremely proactive, self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills.
• Technical skills preferred to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements
• Be a collaborative, team player by sharing insights and challenges with the teams so that we can all move faster, sell more, and make more money.
