A Bank is looking for Deputy HR Lead position to join the dynamic HR team.    

In this role, you will need to be an experienced HR Leader with oversees all aspects of payroll processing, would involve strategic leadership, ensuring compliance, employee data and ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, benefits, taxes and managing related HR functions to support the bank's business objectives.

This position would require strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of HR practices, and an understanding of the banking sector's regulatory environment. Additionally, you may be involved in HR processes like recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training and development.

 

Job Description:

  • Take a lead role in reviews payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Oversee HR administration tasks, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, onboarding, training and development.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Manage and oversee the response to audit requests for HR information.
  • Collaborate with other departments and senior management to ensure alignment and support business needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus and 7 – 10 years of related experience required.
  • Extensive experience in HR leadership, with a strong understanding of banking industry regulations and practices.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems, strong analytical skills, leadership skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and resolve HR-related issues.
