Role Purpose
The Assistant Manager (AM) is responsible for providing high-quality financial analysis and modeling to optimize the profitability of the bank’s products. You will support the FP&A function by deep-diving into product margins, assessing the feasibility of new initiatives, and ensuring that pricing strategies are both competitive and profitable.

Key Responsibilities
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models for Loans, Deposits, and Digital Banking to forecast revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Pricing Support: Develop and maintain pricing models for Loans, Deposits, and Digital Banking products. Support the development of pricing strategies by analyzing Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), and operational cost allocations.
• Product Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of existing products and promotional campaigns, highlighting trends and identifying areas for financial improvement.
• Feasibility Studies: Conduct break-even analysis and financial projections for New Product Launches (NPL) and business cases to ensure they meet the bank’s ROI targets.
• Competitive Benchmarking: Track and analyze competitor interest rates and fee structures to provide data-driven recommendations for rate adjustments.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with product teams and the HOD to facilitate mid-term and short-term strategic planning and budgeting.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field (Mathematics/Statistics).
• Progress toward or completion of ACCA (Part II/III), CIMA, or CFA is highly preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in FP&A, Pricing, or Financial Analysis. Experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector is an added advantage.
• Advanced Excel: Must be able to handle complex formulas and dynamic modeling.
•Solid understanding of banking products, interest margins, and cost allocation methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to explain financial results to non-finance stakeholders.
